All of our Society Members contribute an annual membership levy towards our Scholarship fund.

Applications close 31st December 2025 for 2026 Scholarships

Scholarship Categories:

• HSM Scholar – This award is presented to the student who achieves the highest examination result during the year in a grade 6 to 8 practical exam. The recipient is selected by the Director of Music and the Committee.
• Performance Scholarship – $500 towards yearly subscription for students enrolled in individual lessons. There are five scholarships to award in 2025 to students who have shown commitment to their instrument lessons, ensemble and concert participation, success in examinations and who intend to continue their studies at HSM in 2025.
• Helping Hand Scholarship – Scholarship is available for students and families facing financial difficulty. Please submit application at the time of your enrolment.

Applications for Scholarships should be made by completing the Scholarship application form and emailing to the Director of Music no later than the 31st December 2025.
